"Thanks to Chris my horses are quite happy with their barefoot feet! Both of my horses had horrible hooves when I acquired them but with Chris' help and technique, Toby and Summer are 'Happy Horses' and I'm a Happy Horse Owner!"Joanne in Micco, FL.
"My Peruvian, Pepe, had injured his Left Rear coronet band about 7 years ago. He had clipped a fallen trunk that had a broken branch protruding and the branch broke off about an inch into his leg. A perfect circle grew down his hoof and when it made contact with the ground the hoof split. I spent seven years trying to heal this crack- shoes, staples, odd ways of trimming, even taking matters into my own hands with hoof trimming books! I had given up and accepted the fact that the connection between the hoof wall and the underlying lamina were permanently weakened due to the injury. Chris started working with him about two years ago and had patiently observed and worked with his feet and has skillfully been able to rebalance his feet and cure the split. Now he also moves much more smoothly as well- amazing what balanced feet will do."

"I have two horses that do not like to stand still for a farrier - putting it mildly. One of them also has very tender hooves and always seemed to need shoes on her front. I would like to commend Chris on her patience first and foremost in making sure their hooves are perfect (even though they fuss - some farriers
just make do to get the job done). Also, I have never had one hoof or lameness issue since Chris started doing them (2 years). I am always complimented on how nice their hooves look by my riding partners - something I never think of. So
here is to barefoot and good looking.!"Daryl, Micco FL
While dealing with 'problem feet' and challenging cases is always gratifying, it is equally satisfying to manage the maintenance of 'Happy Hooves'. If you would like to see more photos & case studies please contact us.
Foundered and neglected feet are usually able to be completely rehabilitated IF the owner is willing to look at the horse's lifestyle and husbandry.
Being successful with bare feet means owners must have a certain understanding and level of commitment to adopt and maintain as 'natural' a lifestyle as possible.
A good point to keep in mind is that it is "MILES not MINUTES" that grow a strong & healthy foot.
Put the best foot possible under your horse by contacting Chris to schedule your evaluation.
